Update broke my game?

So, whenever I start my game, it checks for updates, and soon I get a message telling me it wasn't possible to complete the update, verify my internet connection and try again. Sure...I tried disabling my virus tool, adding exceptions to the windows firewall, disabling the firewall and even went as far as uninstalling, downloading the installer again (that supposedly would have the latest version of the game ) and restalling. Still, I get the same message. Is there something I'm missing or am I just unable to play the game forever now?

You can either try to download the last installer from the website here https://spellweaver-tcg.com/download, or download the client from Steam - your account will work just fine.
