Refreshing cooldown on doubling a Skill Shrine

Postby Pizdabol » Sat Jun 23, 2018 2:22 pm

This is an idea I had a long time ago, which the changes to Ywhatsisnameix reminded me of. What if using a skill shire you already know the skill of resets the cooldown of said skill (if it's not on cooldown it does nothng). This way you won't feel so screwed if forced to mana up with a skill shrine, and maybe open up some new opportunities, top deck-style at least. Thoughts?

PS. Now that I think about it, might be OP, say two Sanctum in the same turn. I still like the idea, though, maybe just -1 turn cooldown?

Btw, does anyone else thin Ytix will be way moar OP now?

It worked like that in beta and was super broken with Sanctum and made balancing skill shrines pretty hard in general.

Also it took people by surprise and was reported often as a bug/cheat :)

You see the cooldown is 2/3 and then BAM skill used again.

Some shrines can get immediate 1 for 1 value, like sanctum. Paying a card to destroy an enemy creature is already good enough. So sanctum would be pretty insane in that case.
